Japanese animator and character designer Yusuke Yoshigaki (芳垣祐介) has been a long-term associate of Hiroyuki Imaishi (今石洋之) for the past 2 decades. Starting from joining GAINAX at the same time to the founding of TRIGGER, the two had worked closely on such notable series as『Kill la Kill』(2013).
This little artbook showcases Yoshigaki’s private drawings sketched during the span of 2006 and 2009 (before TRIGGER was founded in 2011). It consists of mostly pencil line arts of people’s posture and facial expression of everyday life scenes that are occasionally coloured by markers.
