大野広司:背景画集

Hiroshi Ohno is another Japanese background artist / art director who had studied with Shichiro Kobayashi in the 70’s. He is mostly notable for participating in『Kiki’s Delivery Service』,『A Letter to Momo』and『Wolf Children』, among other animated works.

In this artbook of 136 pages, readers will be satisfied with the amount and the diversity of background arts included: from the aforementioned big hits to some nameless works. It also includes 4 pages of step by step tutorial on how to paint a scene, and an interview with Ohno.
