『Attack on Titan』Omni-directional mobility animation artbook -Imai Arifumi- vol. 1 & 2

『進撃の巨人』立体機動線画集 -今井有文- vol. 1 & 2

These two volumes of animation collections are not the typical keyframe collection that contains only a selection of keyframe animations, but actually include most of the keyframes used in a cut. They are made into flip-book format so that reader can get a sense of motion by flipping over them.

For the『Attack on Titan』franchise, WIT STUDIO specifically created a position called action animation supervisor to supervise the drawing of action shots, especially those involving the use of omni-directional mobility gear (立体機動装置). This position was assumed by Imai Arifumi (今井有文) throughout the 3 seasons.

The first volume covers the animations used in 3 fight scenes in the 3rd season of『Attack on Titan』:

3. Eren vs. the Colossus Titan in ep.#54, cut #C357, #C358
