『けいおん！』名場面線画集 Side A & B
Kyoto Animation published two keyframe collections for the first season of its TV series『K-ON!』. Like all of its keyframe collections published prior to that of『A Silent Voice』, they are printed in black/white on uncoated paper.
Most pages of these volumes showcase a series of related keyframe drawings with the storyboard and the finished animated frame shown in smaller image-size at the bottom of the pages; on occasion a single frame is emphasised and occupies the entire page. There are considerably more full-shots showing body movement than in Kyoani’s previous publications, but close-ups and medium shots still dominate these collections. No time sheet included.
Insofar as I know, Kyoto Animation didn’t publish any standard-book-sized keyframe collection for the second season『K-ON!!』. However, it has included keyframe collections in smaller print as exclusive goodies in the limited DVD editions.
